As a dedicated Functional Practitioner, I focus on the interconnectedness of the body’s systems to promote holistic health and well-being. My approach emphasizes understanding the root causes of health issues rather than just addressing symptoms, allowing for more effective and sustainable solutions.
Many of the “common” symptoms, aches, and pains you experience aren’t simply “normal” or just a “part of aging.” They often stem from imbalances or dysfunctions happening within your body. By restoring this balance, you can eliminate or significantly reduce these complaints, paving the way for effective weight loss and better health.
In my practice, I prioritize education, empowering clients with the knowledge and skills they need to take control of their health. To provide you with a clearer picture of my functional health coaching approach, here's an overview of my process:
Labs & Client Intake Forms
The first step will be to order any necessary lab kits related to your case. While you wait for the kits to arrive, I will email intake forms for you to complete at your earliest convenience. Additionally, you will need to fill out a Nutrition Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ). Once everything is completed, we can schedule our initial consultation.
First Consultation
In our first consultation, we’ll discuss the coaching relationship, examine your health history and goals, and review your intake forms and food journal. This will help me develop a customized plan that meets your specific needs. By this point, you should have most of your lab tests completed but please allow up to four weeks for all results to come in.
Results & Recommendations
After the results are in, we will schedule a 90 minute session to review the findings and recommendations. You can expect to receive the results via email within 24 hrs. of our session. This session will include a detailed analysis of the lab results in relation to your symptoms, along with a comprehensive 90-day diet and lifestyle plan.
In some instances, 2-90 minute sessions maybe required to go over the test depending on the number of tests done and the information provided by them.
Supplement Recommendations
I will also schedule a 45 minute session to go over recommendations for supplements. Supplements do help with meeting nutritional requirements and do help maintain overall health.
Follow-ups
We will schedule 45 minute follow-up sessions every two weeks over the next 3-9 months, depending on your package. These sessions aim to monitor your progress, troubleshoot any issues, and provide the guidance you need to support you on your journey.
Last Sesssion
In our final session, we will reassess your symptoms and evaluate your overall progress. We will focus on maintaining your new healthy habits well beyond our time together.
Follow-up testing may be recommended to monitor your progress and address any new health issues that may arise.
